Pricing FAQ
Why no per-seat pricing?+
Because ilion's value isn't a human in a seat — it's the agents doing the work. Charging per seat would punish you for adding teammates, so we never do: adding a person never costs more. Each plan is simply built for a team size — up to 10 on Starter, 30 on Growth, 75 on Scale, any size on Enterprise — and when a team outgrows one, the next plan is still cheaper than what a per-seat CRM charges for the same people.
Is chat really unlimited?+
Yes — ask your AI assistant anything, as often as you like, on every plan. What has a monthly allowance is autonomous agent work (the background agents acting on your pipeline) — generous enough that most teams never hit it. If you do, agents pause; buy a top-up or upgrade to keep them running. No surprise bills. Enterprise is uncapped.
Does WhatsApp cost extra?+
No. You connect your own WhatsApp Business number and it's included on every plan — inbox, replies, templates, consent handling and the WhatsApp agents. Meta bills its own conversation and template fees to your Meta account, at cost; ilion never adds a per-message fee. What moves up the ladder is what a bigger team reaches for: campaigns and your assistant on WhatsApp on Growth, deal rooms on Scale.
Do calls and meetings cost extra?+
Connect your own phone system or notetaker and calls and meetings flow in at no extra charge. Two things draw on your agent credits, the same allowance the agents use: transcribing a call recording (about one credit a minute) and dialing a call from inside ilion (about four credits a minute). The ilion notetaker, which joins your customer meetings for you, has its own monthly allowance of hours on Growth and Scale — when it's used up the bot simply stops joining until next month, and nothing else pauses.
Do agents send things without me?+
No — by default, anything outbound is drafted for your one-click approval. You can grant more autonomy per workflow once you trust it.
Can I import my existing data?+
Yes — CSV in, AI auto-maps the columns, you review, done. Usually minutes.
Do I have to upgrade to get security features?+
No. Two-factor authentication (optional, or required for everyone), the audit log, sign-in domain restrictions, session timeouts, a complete data export and self-serve deletion are on every plan — Starter included. A security control you lose by downgrading isn't a control. The one exception is SSO (SAML) and SCIM directory sync, which we set up with you as part of Enterprise onboarding.
Is my data isolated from other companies?+
Yes — strict per-tenant isolation, verified end-to-end. Your data is never visible to another customer.
